Deborah K. Palmer has been working in the personal injury field for over 15 years.  Initially, Debbie worked as a paralegal, assisting in every phase of personal injury litigation and obtaining invaluable experience.  While continuing to work as a paralegal at the firm, she put herself through law school and earned membership on the prestigious law review and moot court teams.  She as not only a member of the National Moot Court Competition Team but a Moot Court Board Member as well.  She authored an article:  “Gerlin v. Lawson:  Allocation of Fault Without Adjudication of Fault.”

 Debbie then became an associate of the firm and has been handling cases ever since.  Many of Debbie’s successes have been in complicated automobile negligence, dog bite, premises liability and trucking accident cases, while also being part of the litigation teams for which the law firm is known on its major cases.

 She is a frequent lecturer to various groups and organizations on areas from professional negligence to medical damages.  In addition, she has co-authored several sections of The Michigan Trial Notebook,” including the in limine and voir dire sections.  Debbie is known for her passionate pursuit of cases and dedication to fulfilling the client’s needs at every level.  Her additional practice areas range from traumatic brain injuries, to burn injuries, to spinal cord injuries, general negligence and wrongful death litigation.

 Debbie is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association; the American Bar Association; State Bar of Michigan; the Kalamazoo County Bar Association; the Young Lawyers Association and the Brain Injury Association of Michigan.
